happy birthday america!
we had been quarantined basically for three months, all husbands started working from home and bans were lifted a little. first communions began to be celebrated so we went up to oklahoma to celebrate jude and seth. it was truly what we all needed. it was so hard to come back to reality after that weekend…

we started our day off with a nail in our tire, but pushed through to make it to the rodeo!
we enjoyed a rather empty rodeo after after the news had reported cases of corona virus happening in houston. the rodeo looked a little different with lots of hand sanitizer but that was the only difference. it was fun to run into friends and enjoy yummy food and furry animals.
the next day we found out they were shutting down the rodeo because of coronavirus outbreaks. we were so glad we went that day but it was so weird how fast things were happening. we attending the kids classes that thursday but that was unfortunately the end of on campus classes for the year.
the rodeo was a blast as always and it was so fun to spoil the kids. we fixed our tire on the way back home and then life totally changed that weekend.
after our fun rodeo trip on that tuesday, we attended thursdays classes, then had abbie and Joe over for dinner that weekend… it was after that weekend, that our and the rest of the worlds lives totally changed. the corona virus was a real situation but one we and anyone else really knew nothing about so we took every precaution and before we knew it had drastically changed our way of living … in the midst of uncertainty we got creative as a family, mama organized a lot. and then reorganized. we picked up the family rosary to pray for our families and our country. we celebrated any chance we got.
samuels opening day was fun for everyone! this was the first season that he was our only baseball player. the whole family was able to rally around him and even jack was super supportive!
we celebrated that afternoon at deacon baldys and he even got his own root beer!
go braves!
